What is Feng Shui
and Space Clearing?

Feng Shui means “wind and water.”  It is both a science and an art, science being the study of the flow of energy and art being the art of placement (as with cures and adjustments) in such a way that there is a balance between yin and yang.  Traditional feng shui is said to be be a mixture  of psychology, physiology, geography, ecology, architecture, medical science and spirituality.

Feng Shui started in southern China over 4000 years ago. It started with the Form School of North (black tortoise) nurturing, East (green dragon) protection, West (white tiger) danger strength and unpredictability, and South (red phoenix) joyful extraverted hopeful qualities.  The BAGUA is used in the Form School.

The Compass School came later and incorporated the 9-star ki astrology  and study of I Ching (Chinese book of changes composed of 64 hexagrams).

Black Hat Feng Shui originates in the spread of Buddhism from India through Tibet to China, incorporating Taoist and Confucian beliefs, principles of chi, yin and yang and I Ching.  Professor Lin Yun brought the teaching to the USA where it is now the most widespread form of Feng Shui which believes there is a symbolic cure or solution to every problem.

Instinctive Feng Shui is based on the understanding of the natural forces of the universe by the ancient people, our ancestors.  They used the energy of the home as a tool for healing and transformation and to create a sense of balance in their homes.  IFS puts harmony back in your life, creates balances for your home and business environment.

Space Clearing is the purification and the emptying of old, stagnant energies, of residual energies from previous owners or employees in businesses, or within your own home. It is the blessing and the filling of new energies. It is powerful for renewing and uplifting energy, in preparation for Feng Shui.
